Finally! Something not knitted.

I know you all must be quite bored by all these knitted dolls by now.  No, Home Stitch Home has not been skiving, relying on other people's products to feature on this blog.  We've been hard at work behind the scenes and I am proud to present you this brand new collection of felt items.  

Remember Little Red Riding Hood featured in an earlier post?  These versatile felt items can be made into anything your imagination suggests to you.  It can be sewn onto laptop bags, hung from handphone or bags, or even made into brooches to spice up a casual weekend T.  Here, I have made them into fridge magnets (thanks, KL, for your suggestion of cubicle magnets).  They come in handy, especially if you are the sort who hates fingerprints.  Felt has the most amazing way of removing fingerprints without leaving behind lint or scratches.  Keep them on your phone or in your cubicle, and you can use the back part of these items to clean away those nasty stains.

Here's a closer look at the new items:-

Meet Eddy the Elephant.  Actually, the real name is Edward but I'm afraid fans of a certain vampire may object to the comparison, so Eddy it shall be.  Eddy's french and very sociable.

 

Meet Scooby Dooby Dog.  Unlike the dog with the more famous moniker, Scooby Dooby Dog knows to stay out of trouble, and he knows that a mother bear with her baby and around food spell t-r-o-u-b-l-e.

 

Meet Freddy the Frog.  Unlike a certain whiner (quick!  do you remember his name?  It starts with K), he prefers his pig on his plate and not by his side.

 

Meet Mr and Mrs Chick.  Unlike Mr and Mrs Smith (swoon, Brad Pitt), this is a male-dominated marriage.  Here, Mr Chick is telling Mrs Chick to follow him closely as she tends to get distracted by the shopping and thereby get lost.  Obviously, Mrs Chick is not hearing him but is going on about the dress she just saw which was going on sale at 50% discount.  Now be honest, that's how your marriage is, right?  Half the time, we don't hear what the spouse is saying.
